Pre-requisites

  • Completed Post-Secondary education in the field of Electrical Engineering/ technician/ technologist from an accredited technical school or equivalent experience.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting techniques and complete understanding of electrical testing equipment
  • Minimum one years’ experience wiring, electrical and mechanical assembly.
  • Experience with metal fabrication, Drilling, Tapping, Cut-outs would be considered a strong asset.
  • Must supply own basic hand tools (wrench set, wire strippers, ferrule crimper, screwdrivers, etc.
  • Electrical license 309A/442 considered an asset.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Technologist Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field with 10 years minimum experience in the area of control system design, programming, and commissioning.
  • Knowledge of CSA and CUL 508A certification requirements.
  • Independent, self-motivated, self-starter, problem solving team player.
  • Able to work in a team environment, strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • College or higher
  • 2-3 years’ experience with a proven track record

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
    Resourceful and savvy in the technique of negotiation for part sourcing.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to build consensus and influence others.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Familiar with electrical control systems must have 1-2 years experience in a relevant field.
  • Must have hand-on 1-2 years experience with production scheduling in job-shop environment.
  • Must have high level organizational skills to manage production workers in fast paced environment.
  • Familiar with CSA/UL/NEC standards related to electrical Controls industry.
  • Familiar with safety procedures regarding power testing of control panels.
  • Electrical licence would be an asset.
  • Production management course from community college.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
